Terry Boyle McDougall is an executive coach and organizational consultant with 25 years of professional experience at several of the largest financial institutions in North America. Prior to becoming a full-time coach, she was a long-time executive leading U.S. marketing for investment banking, corporate banking, asset management, and wealth management at BMO Financial Group.

Terry has experience enhancing the performance of individual executives, teams and organizations. As a marketer, Terry has a keen interest in understanding how to motivate and influence people to take action. As a coach, Terry brings those marketing insights into her work with professionals to help them better understand their skills, strengths, and passions, and those of their teams, and translate them into a strong vision for their careers and performance plan for their organizations.

Having served on senior leadership teams for a variety of large businesses, Terry has frontline experience helping to execute on large-scale change initiatives such as acquisitions, mergers, and restructurings, and has supported clients in successfully leading through these transitions as well.

Terry helps individuals and teams across a wide variety of functions and industries build the management and leadership skills required to positively impact performance. Industry experience includes financial services, technology, manufacturing, pharma, and professional services. She’s worked with leaders at Accenture, Airbnb, AbbVie, BMW, Chubb, Eaton, Ernst & Young, JLL, JPMorganChase, Mediabrands, Mediacom, Motorola, Vimeo, and Wells Fargo.

Terry volunteers with the Mom Project and the Career Resource Center in Lake Forest. She is the author of Winning the Game of Work: Career Happiness and Success on Your Own Terms available on Amazon. She resides in Highland Park, Illinois.
