Teresa coaches senior executives, high-potential leaders, and executive teams who seek to grow as they shape their future and deliver results in complex, rapidly changing, multi-cultural environments. She has been influencing, leading, facilitating change, and developing people in the United States and Asia for over 30 years.

Teresa’s approach combines a sophisticated understanding of how leaders learn and grow with deep listening, a systems view, keen insight, discerning intellect, and care. Her clients transform as they articulate, explore, and adjust the mindsets and assumptions that influence strategy and determine operating modes – adopting new behaviors and bridging the gap between intent and impact.

Teresa is a strategic thinker who understands business. Her work comprises 25+ years in business and education, primarily focusing on Asia.

As a business professional, Teresa helped McKinsey & Company establish its Greater China and Korea practices. As a communication specialist in McKinsey’s Beijing office, she helped consultants and clients articulate strategic recommendations and increase stakeholder commitment. She served Chinese, multinational, and Korean clients, helping them develop and implement post-merger integration and performance improvement programs where communication was crucial to success. Teresa also specialized in capability development, designing and delivering 30+ communication, problem-solving, and clientele development programs for clients and consultants of all tenures. She was interim director for McKinsey Learning, Asia Pacific, for six months. At McKinsey, she counseled consultants on performance, leadership style, communication, and career planning.

Teresa regularly contributes to executive education programs (e.g., Melbourne Business School, CEIBS) and professional conferences. She speaks on topics such as developing presence, women leaders, integrating cross-cultural competencies into leadership development, and China-specific topics, including accelerating the development of Chinese leaders, influencing China’s business environment, and the journey of Chinese companies to become global players.
