Susan Madonia is an organizational consultant and business executive with over 20 years of experience in building, developing, and leading successful organizations amidst significant transition and change.
Susan is highly skilled in working with executives at all levels from CEOs and other C-Suite executives to Division Presidents, staff, and teams. Her pragmatic, results-driven approach allows her to quickly assess business challenges and opportunities as well as organizational culture and dynamics to help clients develop effective action plans. Adept at challenging current thinking to motivate, inspire, and enact the best outcome, Susan is widely respected as a trusted advisor and key influencer. Before becoming a partner at Executive Coaching Connections, Susan was Vice President of Human Resources and Officer at Elkay Manufacturing where she successfully led domestic and international M&A integrations. Susan also served as a Vice President at the Sara Lee Corporation during a critical time of corporate-wide organizational transformation. In that role, she led corporate human resources with responsibility for talent acquisition, talent calibration, management training, development, and succession planning. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Human Resources at the Consumer Services and New Media divisions at Ameritech overseeing 30,000 employees. Susan was an integral part of the leadership team that built a first-class Customer Service Division from inception through successful implementation. That division subsequently received the prestigious J.D. Powers Award for Customer Service.
