Dr. Sarah Carr Evans

Dr. Sarah Carr Evans is a highly trained and experienced scientist and consultant. Since earning a doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology, Sarah has partnered with numerous Fortune 500, private, and non-profit organizations to design, implement, optimize, and measure the impact of human capital initiatives that extend the full breadth of the leadership life cycle – from selection to succession.
Sarah possesses an extensive background in executive coaching, executive and leader-level assessment, leadership and team development, new leader installation and onboarding, and the development of company-specific leadership competencies that create a framework for selection and talent management programs. Additionally, Sarah has brought value to C-suite executives, executive teams, and Boards of Directors as a consultant, coach, and talent management expert. Through this work, she has created and delivered leadership and Board development programs, conducted team “bench strength” analyses, and provided critical recommendations regarding talent strategy, organizational design, and succession planning.
Sarah also worked internally at one of the largest pediatric healthcare systems in the country overseeing their processes for leader-level selection, top-talent identification, and the assessment of participants invited to take part in their leadership development institute. The institute provided deep leadership development assessment, coaching, and curriculum to clinical and non-clinical supervisors, managers, directors, and executives as well as service line Chiefs and other physician leaders. Additionally, Sarah participated in the organization’s selection and assessment of high potential managers for an intensive management acceleration experience and managed the organization’s talent and succession planning programs.
Sarah is data-driven in her approach and works closely with her clients to define measures of success so that ROI can be demonstrated. She is deeply dedicated to bringing value to organizations and committed to serving as a trusted advisor and business partner to each of her clients.
During her tenure at UGA, she taught psychology courses and published research on topics such as the benefits and challenges of mentoring relationships.
Prior to earning her doctorate, Sarah spent five years as a sales representative with Eli Lilly and Company.
Sarah has experience supporting leaders in a variety of industries. Key client companies include BJC HealthCare, BJC Medical Group, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Washington University, Lurie Children’s Hospital, Northwestern University, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Emory University.
