Robert Young, Psy.D.
Dr. Robert Young is a business psychologist and consultant with over 20 years of experience in assessing leadership talent, developing high potential leaders, building high performing teams and consulting with high profile, industry leading organizations on their most strategically critical talent management needs.
After completing his doctorate in psychology, Bob was accepted into an internship program and four-year active duty assignment, as a US Air Force Captain stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. He then went on to complete his active duty term of service as a consultant to Base Commander at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Since his departure from active duty, he has enjoyed serving the varied needs of several Midwest-based client organizations for the past 18 years. He is an active member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology and Metro Milwaukee Society of Human Resource Management.
As a practice partner in one of the largest industrial-organizational psychology firms in Wisconsin, Bob has encountered and addressed many of the same business challenges and growth opportunities that his clients face. This experience provides him with the empathy and experience required to ask relevant business questions and deliver practical insights to leaders who work in a competitive and dynamic global marketplace.
In Bob’s practice, he consults with a diverse range of entrepreneurial business leaders who run small start-ups, family owned companies, non-profit organizations, as well as fortune 100 companies.
Bob's client list spans a wide range of business categories including; insurance and financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, consumer products, and technology. Some of his clients include: Rockwell Automation, Badger Meter, Direct Supply, Robert W. Baird, Manpower Group, Fiserv, Charter Manufacturing, and Northwestern Mutual.
