John Cooper is an experienced executive coach for top leaders, executives and mid-level managers, with a strong background in management, including team effectiveness, strategy, organizational design, and leadership development. He has helped leaders at all levels to achieve outstanding results, increase leadership effectiveness, relationships and motivation.  

With over 30 years of combined coaching, consulting and business experience, including ten years as a sales/operations leader in Financial Services, John understands the day-to-day demands of an organizational leader who continually produces high quality results. Due to his strong background in Organizational Development, he is able to help a leader develop in the context of broader organizational issues including strategy, culture, team environment, and structure. He has coached hundreds of leaders over the past eighteen years and forms clos trusting relationships with his clients.

John serves as adjunct faculty at Northwestern University teaching Leadership and Strategic Thinking. John is the past President of the Organization Development Network of Chicago, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago. He also served on the board of Boys to Men, a national youth mentoring program, and has served as Executive Coach for the National Leadership Conference for the Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association.
