Dr. Jane Horan is an expert in cross cultural leadership and career transitions. Jane is an internationally recognized executive coaching, speaker and author.

With over 20 years of work experience with companies such as Kraft, Disney and GE, Jane uses her work knowledge to help organizations build inclusive and engaged workplaces.  Her consulting work includes Fortune 100 firms such as, BP, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Covidien, HP, HSBC, McDonalds, Microsoft, Monsanto, Unilever, Jones Lang LaSalle, SingTel, Toshiba, VMWare and others.

As a coach, Jane blends doctoral research and work experience in Organizational Development, combining Evidence Based Coaching and Positive Psychology to ensure talented professionals achieve their full potential.  She works with women to build meaningful careers through successful transitions. Through her advisory work, coaching and workshops, Jane provides sound advice and practical tools to help organizations retain and engage talent.  

Jane is author of I Wish I’d Known That Earlier in My Career: The Power of Positive Workplace Politics, a business book used by corporate universities and career coaches globally. She is also the author of How Asian Women Lead: Lessons for Global Corporations, based on her doctoral research, using storytelling to show new perspectives on the future of leadership and careers.  Her next book, Career Your Way, will be published in 2016. Jane has written articles on women leaders, office politics and career transitions for Bloomberg Business Week, Human Resource Review, Quartz, The Economist Intelligence Unit, South China Morning Post, Straits Times and other publications.

She is a Senior Researcher with The Hong Kong University, Senior Fellow with the Conference Board, lectured at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of the National University of Singapore, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Singapore Management University. 

Jane has lived, worked and studied in the US, China and Hong Kong and currently lives in Singapore.
