Andrew is a senior executive coach and facilitator committed to the development of successful organisations through strong leadership and high-performance teams. He is experienced with supporting C-Level executives and is at home with both global and regional leadership teams.
Andrew revels in complex business and organisational challenges; has bias for improving the performance of individuals and teams; and, combines intellectual rigour with a personable, intuitive, and insightful approach. His clients value the breath of his experience, his practical no-nonsense approach, and his ability to offer relevant frameworks that help them explore their issues and develop their own solutions.
Andrew is an experienced senior manager with 16 years' pan-asian management experience covering all aspects of running and growing an international business including full regional P&L responsibility, sales, and operations. He was responsible for offices in Australia, China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong), India, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.
During the past 18 years in this role, Andrew worked in industries including advertising, banking, construction, consumer, creative, finance, manufacturing, media, non-profit and NGO, pharmaceutical, public sector, recruitment, retail, trading, transport, and logistics. This includes organisations such as DHL, CooperVision, DB Schenker, Levi Strauss, Merck, Mizuho Bank, Mondelez, Novartis, Robert Bosch, Santen Pharmaceuticals, SAP, and Shell.
Andrew is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vaughan Govier Pte Ltd, a leadership development company with a particular focus on inspiring leaders and supporting people managers as they create great organizations.
Andrew moved to Singapore in 1995.
